Dryer section air systems: Quality is in the air

30.08.2016 by Riitta Leppämäki

air systemsThe dryer section air systems consist of many important components that affect paper quality, productivity and paper machine runnability. Therefore, the highest possible knowledge of – and experience in – paper drying theory and paper machine technology is essential. TM Systems possesses both.

Product

TM Systems supplies all necessary components to ventilate the dryer section: Exhaust air systems, supply air systems, air distribution devices such as pocket ventilators and blowstocks. The benefits achieved by utilizing our Vacubox® web stabilizers and pocket ventilators are increased production, better runnability and paper quality as well as increased paper machine efficiency.

How it works

Our ventilation system evacuates water vapour evaporated during the web drying and supplies dry air to the dryer section in a correct way. Thus, it increases the drying capacity and reduces the required steam pressure.

Suitable for

Our ventilation systems are suitable for all kinds of paper machines.

Benefits

  • Evacuates the water vapour evaporated during web drying.
  • Supplies dry air to the dryer section in the correct way.
  • Increases the dryer capacity.
  • Reduces the required steam pressure.
  • Improves the dryer section runnability.
